The Health Application Process Explained

When you request a health quote, we have to ask you a few personal questions. We're not doing it to be nosy; we need the info to give you an accurate rate- and to know which health plans would fit you best.

We're going to ask you basics like your age, your height and weight, whether you smoke, and where you live. We also need to know if you have any health conditions, are taking any prescriptions, or have any tests or surgeries scheduled. When you call, be sure you're located in a good place to discuss these details. The middle of the break room, in earshot of your co-workers, may not be the best place! If need be, e-mail us and we can discuss it there, or set up a time to talk things over with you.

The better we know your situation, the better we can serve you. Our view here is that you deserve an accurate quote. We want you to know what you can reasonably expect when you apply for coverage. Anyone can plug info into a quote engine and get some quotes (we have a quote engine right here). But those are only "best case" rates. Even a minor, routine prescription can affect your final rate. We know which companies will be the kindest with YOUR health history.

There is no cost difference between using an agent and going direct- so why not get better service, experience, and someone to look after your policy? Contact us for an appointment, or to request a quote.
